Will Reform rock up for Waverley & Guildford?

It could be a severe blow to the Tories if Reform does as promised…

“fights on all fronts.”

MPs Jeremy Hunt and Angela Richardson may need to keep their hard hats firmly on their heads during the coming weeks.

Here at the WW, we have a strong feeling that in the Godalming & Ash seat, Richard Tice, who inherited the leadership of the insurgent party from Nigel Farage, will be unable to resist helping to oust Jeremy Hunt.

The newly formed Godalming & Ash seat will be hotly contested by Waverley’s Leader, Liberal  Democrat Cllr Paul Follows. He has a strong following in the borough and has already carved out a reputation for being a man of the people.

Richard Tice has repeatedly ruled out reaching any deals with the Conservative Party, saying it must be punished for what it has inflicted on the country.

So, with his pledge of putting up candidates in 630 of the 650 possible seats, it is inconceivable that he would not have named candidates for Jeremy Hunt’s and Angela Richardson’s chosen new constituencies, both of which are marginal seats.

Angela Richardson was knitting to keep the country warm.

Particularly Aunty Angie, as she is known since she suggested during the energy crisis that residents get out their knitting needles to make hats to keep themselves warm.

It’s not a good move for the multi-millionaire wife of her known tax-avoidance husband! As deputy chairman of the Conservative Party, she would be an ideal target for Tice’s arrows.

Watch this space.
