Follows – your leader, is not amused.

For many months, Surrey County Council has discussed abandoning two vital services behind closed doors.

We believed it was called – PROJECT LIBRA.

Despite our efforts trawling through the many thousands of pages of county council reports, we could find no mention of exactly where the axe would fall on two vital discretionary services.  Why were discussions held in camera?

Why weren’t the boroughs and district councils impacted by the cuts informed? It’s time for us, the residents and stakeholders, to step up and demand the transparency we deserve.

Well, now we know one of them:  The Family Support Service. WW apologises for clipping the introduction to the Executive meeting, but hang on in there.

Tory-controlled SCC is currently forecasting a substantial overspend of £16.6m
