Waverley Borough Council is a separate council from Guildford, with separate accounts.

 Waverley’s Leader, Paul Follows,  reassured colleagues that although Waverley had successfully worked with Guildford to make savings of many hundreds of thousands of pounds. He reminded those opposed to the collaboration of some home truths.

“Unless the Government, and the chancellor in particular, starts to address the crisis in Local Government’s funding, this is but the tip of the iceberg.
