Go Rosemary – you get my vote. You are a wonderful human! Fingers crossed you win. Two Townsends at Borough sounds like a repeat of the Ellis and Stennett duos. Yuck.
She might be a wonderful human to you, but we should be voting on effectiveness as a councillor. Her tenure at Cranleigh Parish Council, has been marked by self-promotion, obstruction, back-stabbing and weirdness. She also supported Ellis and the Stennett duos in their voting, hardly a recommendation.
What a nasty comment Billy. I’m sure Mr Townsend is a pleasant guy but I don’t know what he has done in the Community. His wife has done a lot of good although I wish she has stayed Independent. Rosemary has worked extensively helping disadvantaged children. I’m not a fan of husband and wife teams. I thought we were done with that nonsense in Cranleigh with the departure of the Stennetts and one Ellis. Obviously not.
