Covid Testing available this weekend in Godalming.

A mobile Coronavirus testing facility is being established in The Wharf Car Park, Godalming, from Friday 3 September to Monday 6 September.

Today’s dashboard shows a downtrend in infection rates across Surrey, but despite this, Surrey still sees higher rates in young people aged 11 – 16.

In the past seven days, Waverley registered 318 new cases.

Event season may be here, but so is COVID. It’s really important that we all keep playing our part by continuing to take all the necessary precautions:-

• Keep testing
• Get vaccinated
• Wash your hands frequently and use a sanitiser
• Stay at home if you have symptoms or if you’re feeling unwell …

Testing is available to all those with COVID-19 symptoms but must be pre-booked online. Booking for this site is open from 5 pm the evening before and on the day.

Residents should book on the national testing portal: visiting or call the NHS on 119.

Those without an appointment will be turned away.

Frontline health and social care staff, adults, aged 70 or over, older people living in care homes, and over 16s who are immunosuppressed or clinically extremely vulnerable will be offered the booster jab from September as part of stage 1 of the programme.
We are working as quickly as possible to meet these recommendations and will be in touch with colleagues across health and social care with details on how to book and arrange an appointment.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, please email
