Farnham housing scheme given the go-ahead.

Gateway to Surrey will change forever after 320 homes are approved.

With Dunsfold Airfield’s housing allocation now pulled from Waverley’s five-year housing land supply figures, many more homes will be built in Farnham.

Is Dunsfold Garden Village Done For?

Judging by the link below outlining  Waverley Council’s new housing land supply position, the largest downfield site in the borough has been consigned to the trash bin. Leaving the council miserable. 2.68 years of deliverable housing between the years 2024 and 2029. The WW believes it is considerably less than 2.68 years, and developers are queuing up to challenge it.

With the revised national planning policy recently issued,  the borough’s housing numbers have doubled from 710 to 1,481 dwellings per annum.

The gateway to Surrey will be forever changed after a vast housing development was given the green light. More than 300 homes will be built on the edge of Farnham, of which 96 will be affordable, as councillors at Waverley Borough Council decided to “get on and build some houses.

With this in mind, Farnham’s Central Surgery aims to make it easier for the community to access healthcare without the need for additional travel and to combine their trip with other activities in town. The team is committed to making Central Surgery a more sustainable practice by reducing the need for multiple-car journeys.

The number to call the practice (01252 716226) will remain the same.

  1. Good. About time ANYwhere else apart from Alfold gets their fair share of housing. It’s a damming failure of WBC’s planning committee and elected officials though.

Abject failure of Waverley Borough Council. Abject.
