Who is to blame for this fiasco of retention and recruitment of the most senior Borough staff ?
Our guess – some staff didn’t like working for two authorities, some didn’t like giving up a cushy job for a more exacting workload – and others decided that moving down to West Sussex and beyond made good sense due to such high house prices and rising mortgage rates.
