Could it be that the Alfold Bobby – Kevin Deanus – can put his feet up and sail back onto the Good Ship Waverley unopposed to represent the people of Alfold, Cranleigh Rural & Ellens Green.?

  1. So it seems we have collectively managed to contest 55 of 57 seats in Waverley between the non-Conservative parties.

Notice anything about the Godalming seats and a few of the others? You will see something similar when the town/parish ones are released today.

  2. Congratulation – at last we might have some balalnce in this Tory dominated borough of OURS! We wait with baited breath for the full line-up – and then let the show begin.

    • It would be preferable if the underperforming sitting Tory councillors were opposed by a single candidate rather than multiple candidates who would split the opposition vote.

  3. Surely with all the problems facing the residents of the eastern villages seats like Alfold and Shamley Green should not have gone uncontested?

We fully understand why nobody in Alfold wanted to stand against an extremely useful and effective Cllr like Kevin Deanus. But, Shamley Green?
