Ah well – that is where most of the public’s questions end up – in the swamp that is ‘Your Waverley.’ So why not one of its own councillors! Anyway, who needs an answer URGENTLY – it’s Christmas for Christmas sake – when all the staff bog off on their annual holidays and the rest have either left or are leaving!
But Jeremy Shunt has waded in to attack the bankers – so all will be well for Haslemere – won’t it?
Oh! and what about Cranleigh? – The little village all set to have a population explosion and become Waverley’s new town? Two of Its bank have/are closing their doors, another is reducing its opening hours and as for Lloyds – who knows?
It is a pity that no one took up the cudgel to stop Lloyds customers receiving a compulsory transfer from Lloyds to TSB. One of the penalties the EU placed on Lloyds customers for Gordon Brown arranging Lloyds to rescue his failed HBOS.
We agree. Compulsion seems totally unfair – TSB is now owned by the Spanish Bank.
A bank account kind of guy!! (Early 80’s UK cinema commercial)
