Officers were called at around 2.30pm yesterday on Castle Hill, Farnham, where the South East Coast Ambulance service treated two motorcycle drivers and a pillion passenger. All three were taken to hospital with serious, potentially life-changing, injuries.
Police believe that the collision may have involved, or been witnessed by, a number of other motorcyclists who left the scene before police arrived – and they are very keen to trace that group, or anyone who may have seen their manner of riding in the minutes immediately before or after the collision.
The motorcycles are described as being of the “chopper” or “Harley-Davidson” style of bike.
Castle Hill remained closed between Castle Street and the Borough Road in order for the emergency services to complete their work, and the scene to be cleared.
Anyone who was part of the group of motorcyclists, or saw them in or around Farnham between 2pm and 3pm today (19/8) or may have dashcam, video or stills images of their motorcycles is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference P17210763, in order to help officers understand how the victims were injured.
