The Berkley bunnies cannot be short-changing Cranleigh – can they?

Looks like the bunnies burrow off Knowle Lane and Alfold Lane might not be quite so big as an Appeal Inspector hoped it would be…

Berkeley Homes want to build the 55 high end properties leading onto Knowle Lane first – and then build the other 370 this year, next year, sometime…never?

Is there any mention anywhere in a planning application of a new roundabout in Knowle Lane, or is someone keeping that one under wraps – do we see traffic chaos coming on?

WW can see a new revised planning application coming over the horizon?

Could this be Why? The information below is taken from the report provided to councillors at The Extraordinary Council Meeting last week when it approved the Local Plan. So maybe, just maybe Berkeleys won’t want to build 40% affordable homes after all? And anyway according to that Plan…Cranleigh only needs 151 – but of course there are 221 other families living outside the borough all of whom  want to live in Cranleigh… don’t they?
